Sonam Wangchuk's Boycott Made In China Movement: Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 Actress Sonyaa Ayodhya Deletes TikTok Account- EXCLUSIVE
A few days back, Sonam Wangchuk who was also the inspiration behind Aamir Khan's character of in 3 Idiots, posted a video urging Indians to boycott Made In china products. After which celebrities like Milind Soman, Arshad Warsi and Shubhangi Atre quit the most used Chinese App, TikTok and now the latest one to join them is Sonyaa Ayodhya, who was last seen in TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.

Sonyaa deleted her TikTok account which had a big fan-following as the actress was quite active on the platform. Talking to us exclusively, Sonyaa mentioned, "After watching Sonam Wangchuk's video I realised that I made such a mistake to download and use such App which is owned by a country like China. And since the day I saw they are trying to attack our soldiers, I decided to give up anything which is related to them. So not just TikTok, I have uninstalled all the Apps in my phone which has its origin from China. And not only applications but I am also going to boycott all their products going ahead. Also, there is one more reason, when we use any Chinese app, our data is not safe as they have access to our details and I really don't want that in future if they initiate any digital war, they misuse my details for it."

You may recall, a few days back, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai's Angoori aka Shubhangi Atre also deleted the app. She had told us, "COVID-19 is still a mystery which originated from their land. The virus which started from Wuhan didn't reach Bejing, Tokyo or Shanghai and stop their economies but managed to reach all over the world.

Shubhangi

The entire humanity is suffering because of it. And then of course, whatever is happening at the Indo-China border in Ladakh made me boycott it completely. As a responsible citizen I have to think about my country and if somebody is attacking my nation, I will not accept it in anyway. Just because I am an actor I can't be associated to such a platform and think about making money."
